Warhawk Wrestling Club
At Warhawk Wrestling Club (Nampa, Idaho), we are the official youth feeder program for the Ridgevue High School Warhawks. Our mission is to develop strong, confident, and resilient athletes by teaching wrestling skills while building character, work ethic, and a lifelong love for the sport.
We divide our wrestlers into two focused groups so every child trains at the perfect intensity level:

2025-2026 Season Schedule
- Elite Warhawks practices begin Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025
- Little Warhawks practices begin Wednesday, January 7th, 2026
- Season runs through the end of March 2026 (folkstyle season), with optional spring freestyle opportunities for Elite members
Who can participate?
Our wrestling club is for boys and girls ages 5 through 16 as of January 1st of the current season year. For competition in USA Wrestling sponsored tournaments, wrestlers are grouped by age and weight, with separate divisions for boys and girls. You can review the USA Wrestling official age groups and weight classes here.
What does it cost to participate?
Costs associated with the 2026 season are outlined below.
-
Club Membership $100-$200Little Warhawks: $100
Elite Warhawks: $200
These fees cover facility costs, equipment, coaching, club insurance, and all operations. Multiple-wrestler families, and payment plans or scholarships are always available—just ask. No hidden costs, no profits—just building better Warhawks. -
USA Wrestling Membership $20-$65Every wrestler must have a current USA Wrestling athlete membership to step on the mat for practice or competition (this is a national and insurance requirement—no exceptions). We recommend one of these two options for our folkstyle season:
Limited Folkstyle Membership – $20
Perfect for most of our wrestlers. Covers full insurance at all club practices, local tournaments, and Idaho district/state folkstyle events.
Full Athlete Membership – $65
The best choice if your wrestler plans to compete in any freestyle/greco tournaments in the spring or summer, or travel out-of-state. Includes everything in the Limited Folkstyle card plus nationwide coverage for all styles and events all year.
If you're unsure which to choose, we recommend you start with the Limited Folkstyle Membership - you can always upgrade for the difference later if needed. -
Team Uniform $75Required club gear (can be used for both practice + competition):
Warhawk hoodie - $30
Warhawk t-shirt - $25
Warhawk shorts - $20
If your wrestler already has these from a previous season and they still fit, you’re all set – no need to buy again. We use the same design every year so gear lasts for multiple seasons and keeps costs low. You can opt out of the purchase of these individually during the registration process if you already have some or all of the items. -
Singlet (Optional) TBDSinglets are the sharpest way for Warhawks to step on the mat at tournaments, but they’re still optional—club t-shirt and shorts always work for competition.
We are working on setting up the team store with a new design that will allow wrestlers to show off the ranks they have achieved and display their "kill count" with pride.
